Russell Marine Transport LLC was started with a passion for boats. I've been an avid boater for nearly my entire life. I served in the US Navy from 1993-to 2001, deploying worldwide. I knew that being on boats and on the water, I could find complete comfort from a young age.

The Story Behind the Business

My background is in business which has come from the media industry and working in radio and digital advertising for nearly two decades. From there, I needed a change, and with the encouragement of friends and family, I left Corporate America and went to work for MarineMax in Dallas, TX.

It wasn't long after my local marina recruited me to run their defunct Service Center. During that time, I decided it was time to break out and follow my dream of having a Premier Boat/Yacht Transport Company. Russell Marine Transport LLC was launched by taking my background in business, passion for boats, and childhood dream of driving a big rig.

  • I started moving boats locally with my 1-Ton dually truck and have evolved into having five specially equipped semi-tractors and stretch low boy trailers.
  • My equipment is designed and built for the best possible hauling of boats and large yachts.
  • I can haul upwards of 100,000 lbs on my wide-body, stretch trailer, and everything in between on any of my other four specialty boat-transport trailers. They are simply the best available in the business.
